September 29th, 2022, marked a special day for our new tenants at the London City Centre, KGK Science, with their employees gathering to celebrate the grand opening of the research clinic and the company’s 25th anniversary.
KGK Science has always been a trailblazer in the human nutrition industry, officially coming out of the Centre for Human Nutrition at the University of Western Ontario. “Since 1997, KGK Science has played a key role in the natural health product industry by providing clients with high-quality clinical research and regulatory expertise to bring products to global markets,” said Najla Guthrie, President & CEO of KGK Science.
KGK Science has called downtown London home since 2003, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the team was looking to downsize their office space and increase their clinic space. Wanting to remain in this highly-accessible location, London City Centre proved to be the ideal new premises for the clinic and corporate office. Najla Guthrie explains, “we decided to relocate to the City Centre because the space for the clinic was ideal, and the composition of the space allowed us to accommodate all of our exam rooms, equipment, and regulatory requirements. Additionally, we have direct street access, making it easily accessible for our clients and staff.”
Working closely with Europro’s Senior Property Manager, Richie Anand, KGK Science was able to develop a state-of-the-art facility while maximizing the use of the space. “Richie and the team were fantastic to work with, we were often pressing and shortening the timelines, but the team took it on with a smile and delivered a facility that exceeded our expectations on time and on budget," furthered Guthrie.
